One of the most commonly asked questions on the site is whether all women can women squirt or not. I’ll get straight to the point: between 6% to 69.23% of women can squirt, according to the eight scientific research studies I examined, depending on how you define squirting. Therefore, not all women can squirt during sex and masturbation.
Quick side note: I put together a guide for those interested in learning how to make yourself squirt for those with a vulva. If your partner is the one with a vulva, you may want to read our guide on how to make your girl squirt.

6-69.23% Of Women Can Squirt, How I Came To This Conclusion…
After an extensive search for every possible scientific study and research paper on how many women can squirt, I only included scientific research papers/studies.
While I read lots of interesting anecdotes and anonymous opinions on whether all women can squirt or not, I decided not to include those. So…
What caused of the large 6-69.23% range for women who can squirt?
It’s pretty simple…
The definition of what squirting is varied between these papers and studies…

- Up to 54% of women can ejaculate some kind of fluid (not vaginal lubrication, not coital incontinence) during sexual activity, according to an analysis of multiple squirting studies. This fluid doesn’t always “shoot” out, but usually flows, gushes or slowly leaks out [1].
- 6% of women can shoot a stream of squirt from their vulva [2].
- A study of female Colombian sex workers found that 69.23% could squirt to some degree [3]. However, this figure of 69.23% is not representative of all women.
Let’s jump into what the research says about whether or not all women can squirt…
1. 10-54% Of Women Can Squirt, According To A Literature Review of 46 Studies & 5 Books
In one study, a systematic literature review found that the “prevalence of female ejaculation is 10-54% [1].”
The study defines female ejaculation orgasm as:
“Female ejaculation orgasm manifests as either a female ejaculation (FE) of a smaller quantity of whitish secretions from the female prostate or a squirting of a larger amount of diluted and changed urine [1].”
This study also differentiated between female ejaculation/squirting and cases of penetration incontinence, which is usually caused by stress urinary incontinence (SUI).
This literature review analyzed a total of 46 studies, including four reviews. Additionally, five books were also analyzed to finally give a good answer on whether all women are capable of squirting [1].

2. 6% Of Women Can Squirt A Stream, But 60% Can “Gush”
In another study, 6% of women reported “organistic expulsions resembling male ejaculation” [2]. So…
6% of women can shoot a stream of squirt, similar to how a guy ejaculates.
4 killer tips: How to make a guy cum hard.
This figure of 6% may seem low. However…
“Release of fluid without ejaculation was reported by approximately 60% of females” [2]. “Release of fluid” is what happens when a woman gushes. Instead of shooting a stream of squirt, it gushes, runs or slowly leaks out of the vagina.
So…
Although only 6% can shoot a stream of squirt, 60% of women can release some kind of fluid, according to this study [2].
3. 41.4% Of American Women Can Squirt
Another squirting study surveyed US women aged 18-93. From the 2936 responses, they found that “forty (41.4%) percent of U.S. adult women had ever squirted in their lifetime” [4].
A constant question: I consistently get emails asking how to orgasm more easily & often during sex. I usually recommend this 3 step system that makes it a lot easier (& fun!). You can also see people's reactions to it here đ
You can see the table of responses from these 2936 women below:
Squirting Status % of women [4] Ever squirted 41.4 Squirted once or twice 39.6 Squirted 3-5 times 19.5 Squirted 6-10 times 11.7 Squirted 11+ times 28.9
4. 58% Of Swedish Women Can Squirt
In a study of 1568 women (aged 18 to 69) using a cross-sectional online questionnaire (in Swedish) it was found that “58% had experienced ejaculation/squirting” [5].
One interesting finding from this study was that “despite most (77%) rating it as primarily a positive sensation, many reacted with shock/shame (28%) or thought they had urinated (26%) the first time it occurred [5].
Additionally, “61% reported orgasm occurring close to, or simultaneously, with ejaculation/squirting” [5].

5. 40-50% Of Slovakian Women Can Squirt
A Slovakian researcher and professor, Milan ZaviaÄiÄ, who made a significant contribution to research into the physiological background of female ejaculation by studying the function of the paraurethral gland (“female prostate”), wrote a book called The Human Female Prostate.

In it, he writes, “Slovak women, they experience relatively frequently (40-50%) ejaculation at coital activity” [6].

7. 39.5% (1989 study)
In a study of over 1,000 women, 39.5% of women “reported having ever experienced ejaculation at the moment of orgasm” [8].
8. 69.23% Of Columbian Sex Workers Can Squirt
In a study to determine the prevalence of squirting in a group of sex workers in Columbia, researchers found that it occurred for 69.23% of the women in the study [3].
Now you know what percentage of women can squirt. Are you surprised? Although we can see some trends across countries and time, these numbers may not perfectly reflect reality or your specific situation.
It’s possible that the people willing to join a study about sex/squirting or answer questions on whether or not they can squirt are more sexually open, like the sex workers surveyed, and have actively learned how to squirt which would affect the true % of women that can squirt.

Orgasm Every Time. Easily. Hereâs How...
I want to tell you about my friend Karen.
Karen came to me one day. She was hysterical.
She told me that her marriage was falling apart because she and her husband didnât have satisfying sex.
Every time they were intimate, Karen was faking her orgasms. It turns out she couldnât orgasm during sex.
In fact...
She never had an orgasm in her entire life. Not one!
This left her feeling embarrassed and ashamed. And...
She completely hid this from her husband. Thankfully...
It turns out that there is a way for any woman to orgasm. Easily. And have multiple vaginal and full body orgasms during sex and masturbation.
I shared the process with Karen.
After she followed the simple process, she could barely come to terms with how...
Quickly and dramatically her sex life changed.
We met up a few months later and...
She would not stop talking about it,
âI thought I was one of those women who couldnât orgasm. I used to think I was âbrokenâ and âunfixable.â This saved my sex life, and that saved my marriage.â
Even if you currently struggle to orgasm during sex or when masturbating, this process will also work for you.
And best of all, you donât need to do anything weird or uncomfortable to start having the best orgasms and sex of your life.

My wife only has once…by herself. She says she is too scared and embarrassed. I gave her “an assignment” to masturbate while I was at work..she doesn’t normally. She did..and she squirted and sent me a picture. Hasn’t tried again sense but that was the sexiest picture I’ve ever seen.
