You might have heard of anal bleaching, which is a trend inspired by porn stars, but did you know that vagina bleaching exists, too? Bleaching your vagina is less common than anal bleaching, so you might not be familiar. Below, we’ll answer all your questions about this practice.
1. Vaginal Bleaching — That’s a Thing?
Yep. You may have only heard of anal bleaching, which is more common (and we’ve written about that too – read our post!). Or maybe you haven’t heard of either. Regardless, vaginal bleaching is a thing.

It will teach you how to have multiple vaginal and full body orgasms during sex and masturbation. It works even if you currently struggle to orgasm during sex or when masturbating. 2. Do People Actually Bleach Their Vaginas?
Technically, no. Your vagina is the muscle-lined space inside your body through which you experience sex, menstruation, and childbirth. The skin whitening process treats the skin outside the vagina or the vulva. This includes the labia and mons.
3. Why Do People Bleach Their Vaginas?
Some people do it for an extra boost of confidence or just to see what it’s like. Some women bleach their vaginas all the time while yet other women only do it for special occasions. Others are sex workers or porn stars who frequently have sex.
You might even wonder if bleaching your vagina will get him to go down on you. Don’t worry. We can help. Check out our advice to get him to go down.
Some women try vaginal bleaching because their partners prefer the look as well as women who like it better themselves. Women who have patches of dark skin might be especially self-conscious, so they opt to bleach their vaginas.

4. But Darker Skin Is Normal, Right?
Yes, it’s normal for your vulva to be darker or redder than your other skin. Any place where the skin is more wrinkled or uneven can become darker. And you may have patches of uneven dark skin around your vulva. Bodies aren’t always symmetrical.

Just think of your knees, elbows or armpits. If your skin is much darker in those places, you’ll probably experience something similar around your vulva.
Psst, are you dealing with sexual anxiety?
5. Does Vagina Bleaching, Mean I Need To Use Actual Bleach?
No. The products used aren’t just bottles of Clorox. Vaginal bleaches contain active ingredients that lighten the skin. You’ll commonly see Kojic Acid listed as the active ingredient. This is a chemical exfoliant that is derived from a fungus.
An ingredient that is less commonly found in vaginal bleach is hydroquinone. In fact, this ingredient has been banned in countries such as those in the EU. Hydroquinone is fairly uncommon in American products as well, but you can still find international products that contain this ingredient.
6. What Other Ingredients Are In Vagina Bleach?
This is a very good question. Most products are labeled as natural, but it’s still good to know what’s in the product that you’re using in your intimate areas. Any product that upsets your vagina’s pH could lead to an infection.
Important: Learn more about bacterial vaginosis and yeast infection causes/treatments.
Some of the common products include moisturizing and soothing ingredients such as aloe Vitamin E, the latter of which is especially known to fade scars and dark marks. Ingredients lists for these products typically include ingredients that prevent dark pigmentation and lines or wrinkles, so your skin should be smoother and softer overall if the product does what it claims.
Glycolic Acid is also a common ingredient in bleach for your vagina as well as other cosmetics that lighten your skin.
7. How Do You Bleach Your Vagina?
You apply the product to the desired area once or twice daily. To improve efficacy, you may want to use a loofah to exfoliate the area and decrease the time it takes for new, lighter skin to emerge.
Some products requiring rinsing while others don’t, so pay attention to the label. Wait for the product to dry completely before putting on underwear.
8. Does Vaginal Bleaching Hurt?
If you don’t have sensitivities to the ingredients in the vaginal bleach, you should be fine. It may tingle, however.
If you have a reaction, vaginal bleaching can range from uncomfortable to quite painful.
9. What Are The Risks?
Vaginal bleach doesn’t come without the risks. You’re still using chemicals around your most sensitive parts. This can result in discomfort or pain, especially a burning sensation. The discomfort may last for some time, and it may make using the bathroom, masturbation or sex uncomfortable. You may need to hold off on pleasurable activities until you’re fully healed, so you’re risking time, effort, money and pleasure for the desired lightened skin.
In extreme cases, scarring may result. Scarring of the sensitive tissue around your vagina may permanently alter your sex life and your ability to urinate.
10. Can You Perform A Test Beforehand?
A spot test is an easy way to determine how your body will react to vaginal bleach. You can start with a relatively benign area such as your inner wrist. Apply a small amount of product per the instructions.
Start with your thigh and then repeat on a more sensitive spot. Before applying a full layer of vaginal bleach, test, a small area on your vulva. Choose a spot that won’t be exposed to friction. You may want to avoid shaving around the time of bleaching your vagina to reduce the likelihood of a reaction.
11. Can You Bleach Your Vagina At Home?
Yes, you can. You’ll find several products available from Amazon and other retailers that allow you to bleach your vagina. These products typically come in pump bottles; although, you can also buy jars and even skin lightening soaps. If you’re unsure whether vaginal bleaching is for you, some brands offer sample packets to try to see if you like it.
There are some issues with bleaching your vagina at home. For example, it might be awkward to find the right position to apply the product, and you may have difficulty evenly applying it to your bits.
12. Does At Home Vaginal Bleaching Always Work?
Reviews of the products obviously vary and some of that may be due to user error. Talking to friends you have tried it out is a good idea, but read on to learn more.
13. How Long Does It Take to Achieve The Desired Effect?
You’ll need to be pretty consistent in using the vaginal bleach if you want to lighten your vulva. And the darker your skin – or the lighter you want to go – the longer it will take. Expect to spend between four and 14 weeks using the product once or twice daily for optimal results. So you may have to buy a few bottles and commit to seeing if it works, and it may not work at all if you can’t make that commitment.
You may need to keep up the process frequently; otherwise, your skin will return to its normal darker hue. However, you should stop using any vaginal bleaching method if you experience irritation.
14. Is Vaginal Bleach Different From Anal Bleach?
For the most part, they’re practically the same products and they can be used on any area of your body that you want to lighten. So you can also use vaginal bleaching products on your vulva, anus, armpits or even your man’s scrotum and penis.
15. Are There Any DIY Methods?
People have been whitening their skin with lemon juice for decades, and this is one possible solution if you can’t find a commercial product that fits your needs. Proponents claim that the Vitamin C content works as an antioxidant to lighten skin, but you must remember that lemon juice is fairly acidic and your skin may not react well to it.
Furthermore, this method may make your skin sensitive to sunlight. Protect any areas that will be exposed to the sun with sunblock. Sunbathing in the nude isn’t a good idea after using lemon juice to bleach your vulva.
Use lemon juice directly or squeeze juice onto a cotton ball to apply. Leave it on no more than twenty minutes before rinsing.
You can mix the lemon juice with coconut oil to apply it more easily. Vitamin E or aloe vera are soothing and can act as carriers as well. Some people even make masks to lighten their skin from lemon juice and other ingredients.
Like commercial products, lemon juice is the most effective when used consistently and for a prolonged period, so you can’t expect immediate results.
16. Do Professional Vaginal Bleaching Services Exist?
Yes. Not everyone wants to risk vaginal bleaching at home, so they seek out professionals. The same salons that offer Brazilian waxing may offer vaginal bleaching with gels. However, not every salon offers this service. And before choosing a professional, make sure to check their reviews!
Another option is a doctor who offers plastic surgeries.
17. How Do Doctors Perform Vaginal Bleaching Services?
A plastic surgeon may offer one of two (or both) vaginal lightening services.
- Cryosurgery uses liquid nitrogen to freeze skin cells off the darker tissue. These cells die, allowing new, lighter cells to take their place.
- Laser services achieve a similar result by lasering off darker tissue so new tissue can emerge.
18. How Much Does Bleaching Your Vagina Cost?
Professional vaginal bleaching services will obviously cost more than doing it at home, and you may need to go back for more than one treatment. Call your salon or doctor for an estimate.
Bottles of commercial vaginal bleach can cost cost around $50 on Amazon, so it’s not the cheapest beauty treatment.
Vaginal bleaching to lighten the color of your vulva is fairly risky, and even the at-home treatments can be costly to achieve the desired effect. So make sure you know all the potential risks and possible unfavorable outcomes first before trying it out.
Orgasm Every Time. Easily. Here’s How...
I want to tell you about my friend Karen.
Karen came to me one day. She was hysterical.
She told me that her marriage was falling apart because she and her husband didn’t have satisfying sex.
Every time they were intimate, Karen was faking her orgasms. It turns out she couldn’t orgasm during sex.
In fact...
She never had an orgasm in her entire life. Not one!
This left her feeling embarrassed and ashamed. And...
She completely hid this from her husband. Thankfully...
It turns out that there is a way for any woman to orgasm. Easily. And have multiple vaginal and full body orgasms during sex and masturbation.
I shared the process with Karen.
After she followed the simple process, she could barely come to terms with how...
Quickly and dramatically her sex life changed.
We met up a few months later and...
She would not stop talking about it,
“I thought I was one of those women who couldn’t orgasm. I used to think I was ‘broken’ and ‘unfixable.’ This saved my sex life, and that saved my marriage.”
Even if you currently struggle to orgasm during sex or when masturbating, this process will also work for you.
And best of all, you don’t need to do anything weird or uncomfortable to start having the best orgasms and sex of your life.

I bleached my vagina and anus for 2 months doing it with 2 tubes of bleaching cream I bought from eBay.com. The results are amazing…but now I am suffering major side effects ( which should have been on the product warning). I am having severe burning and itching, with occasional bleeding. I need to know a remedy to stop these side effects. Please help me.

Please see a doctor ASAP. That is not normal and there could be an underlying infection or wearing out of skin.
