Exhibitionist Kink Guide: 39 Tips & Ideas For Maximum Enjoyment

by Sean Jameson

This discreet newsletter will teach you how to make him cum hard, give freaky blow jobs & make him scream your name in bed. Click here to get it.

An exhibitionism kink is when someone is turned on by being watched or seen by others, often in a sexual situation, but…there is actually a lot more to it. This in-depth exhibitionism guide explains what it is in detail, why people have a kink for exhibitionism, how to start exploring it and 39 fun & freaky ways to satisfy your exhibition kink.

Side note: If you are currently struggling to orgasm during sex or masturbation, then you may want to learn about the Easy Orgasm Solution. It will teach you how to have multiple vaginal, clitoral and full body orgasms during sex and masturbation. It works even if you currently struggle to orgasm during sex or when masturbating. You can find out more here.

What is Exhibitionism?

Exhibitionism is a desire to show off your body or sexuality, often in public. It can involve doing extravagant things to get others’ attention, or may look like not covering up or hiding. Some people are generally exhibitionistic while others only want an audience for specific activities.

Exhibitionistic disorder – If you’ve heard of flashers, who get their rocks off by opening their coats to display their genitals to innocent onlookers, you’re familiar with a specific form of the exhibition kink. When it’s a bothersome compulsion like that, it’s known as exhibitionistic disorder that could be related to impulse control or mania and may require psychiatric treatment.

But that’s not the type of exhibitionism we’re talking about. Plenty of people have exhibitionist streaks that don’t violate others’ consent (sexual consent guide), and it’s totally possible to explore and exhibitionist kink with willing partners. For example, masturbating for your partner is a common and well-liked form of exhibitionism.

Learn: 14 powerful masturbation techniques for incredible orgasms and discover how to mutually masturbate.

Getting consent for everything you want to do ensures everyone has a good time, and you avoid legal trouble.

Intense Squirting: You can learn how to squirt effortlessly and with intense pleasure if you use the right techniques. If you're interested in learning how to squirt (alone and with your partner), you may want to check out the Squirting Magic guide.

Why Are People Into Exhibitionist Kink?

Of course, you might be wondering why some people are into this sort of thing. There’s no singular reason why people like it or what causes exhibitionism, but it seems to be relatively common. You’re in good company if you’ve ever wondered why you are an exhibitionist.

How common is the exhibitionism kink? – There are a lot of different types of kinks, but exhibitionism is among the top three paraphilias for men [1]! One study put the prevalence of exhibitionism at “2-4%” [2].

Causes of exhibitionism – That same study named several “risk factors” for this behavior, including:

  • Insecure attachment [2]
  • Sexual abuse in childhood [2]
  • Substance abuse [2]
  • Sexual dysfunction [2]

However, it’s not all negative risk factors.

Another study found that exhibitionism was associated with behaviors “positively associated with being male and having more psychological problems, lower satisfaction with life, greater alcohol and drug use, and greater sexual interest and activity in general, including more sexual partners, greater sexual arousability, higher frequency of masturbation, higher frequency of pornography use, and greater likelihood of having had a same-sex sexual partner” [3].

It appears that being a highly sexual person in general correlates with exhibitionism. That’s not necessarily a surprise. Consider the following reasons someone might be an exhibitionist, all of which can increase excitement and make you aroused.

Validation – Attention can validate that you’re attractive, desirable, or even interesting.

Thrill – Many people experience a thrill from having sex or masturbating in front of others, especially if they’re in public and there’s a risk of getting caught.

Talk dirty confidently: It's surprisingly easy to turn a man on and have him lusting for you, by using a few simple dirty phrases. You'll find these dirty phrases in the Wild Dirty Talk Guide. You'll also learn how to confidently say them.

Empowerment – For some people, showing off their bodies and owning their sexuality can be empowering, and exhibitionism fits the bill.

Humiliation – If you have a humiliation kink, it could be that having other people see you in such a state is humiliating, and that turns you on.

Voyeurism – You might also find yourself engaging in exhibitionist kink even if you don’t love it, but because you’re partner’s a voyeur. Voyeurism is the counterpart to exhibitionism, when people like watching others sexually. Think of it like watching kink versus being watched kink.

While the pairing of a voyeur and exhibitionist can be a match made in heaven, it can also be disatisfying if part of what gets you off is surprise or the seeming “lack” of consent. Having someone who is too into watching you or being watched doesn’t always fulfill the desire.

If you are interested in a supposed “lack” of consent, then you may be interested in exploring consensual non-consent aka CNC kink with your partner.

You might also have issues if your flavors of voyeurism and exhibitionism aren’t compatible.

Quick Quiz: Do You Give Good Blow Jobs?

If you are new here, then you may want to take the quiz below to learn how good you are at giving oral sex and satisfying your man. You may discover you that you suck (pun intended) or that you are already a blow job queen.

Can You Be an Exhibitionist When No One Is Watching?

The short answer? Yes. Check out our solo exhibitist ideas.

Ways to Exhibit Your Body AKA Non-Sexual Exhibitionism

While you might think of exhibitionism as having sex or masturbating in front of one or more people, lots of things count as exhibitionistic that aren’t entirely sexual.

Each of the ideas below can also be adapted to more sexual situations, with a partner, for example.

Performing in Public

Whether you like acting, singing, giving a speech, or even putting on a magic show for anyone who wants to watch, you’re taking part in a type of exhibitionism. Even driving a flashy car, revving your engine, or speeding down the main drag can count!

When you think of it that way, many people are exhibitionists in some way.

Dancing

We’d like to give a special nod to dancing, which stands out from other performances because it can be so sexual. Dancing in front of or for someone can be a form of exhibitionism, which is exactly why people who don’t like to show off can feel uncomfortable going to the club.

It doesn’t need to be overtly sexual dancing, either. But you can break out more sexual moves, up to a lap dance, with a partner, or if you want a more erotic ambience.

Wearing Revealing Clothing

Provocative clothing is an easy way to be an exhibitionist, even if you’re not doing anything other than going about your day.

Quick Warning: While this instructional video is quite distressing, it will teach you how to make your lover cry with orgasmic pleasure and become sexually addicted to you. If you are interested in having someone completely obsessed with you and only you, then check out the detailed (& explicit!) oral sex tutorial video here.

Clothing can be considered provocative if it reveals a lot of skin, including low-cut tops, clothing cutouts, sheer materials, low-riding jeans, or short dresses or bottoms. However, you can be fully covered in skintight clothing that many would consider provocative as it would show your every curve.

Read more: How To Dress Sexy For Your Man.

Remember that revealing can be culturally relative, so if you’re from a conservative area or community, showing your collarbone or wearing pants might be seen as provocative, while no one would bat an eye at you in other places.

Don’t assume that anyone else is into exhibitionism because of what they’re wearing. That might just be their personal style. It’s normalized to wear a sports bra or sheer top over a bra in many places, even to the grocery store.

Stripping

If you have a strong exhibitionist streak and want to take it one step further than dressing provocatively, there’s always stripping. Of course, you can just strip for your partner (but we won’t judge if that’s how you make your money)!

And while your mind might jump to taking your clothes off, it can be a whole production if you want it to. Consider what you can wear as a theme or what you can layer to take off, slowly, one piece at a time. Watching strip or burlesque performances can give you plenty of inspiration!

Nudism

If your interest in exhibitionism isn’t necessarily a kink or sex thing, you might try nudism, which is also known as naturism. If you find clothing uncomfortable, nudism could be for you! People in this community go naked all the time because it’s more natural and not necessarily because they have a nude kink.

Possibly useful: If you want to give your man (& yourself) back-arching, toe-curling, screaming orgasms that will keep him sexually addicted to you, then you'll find them in my private and discreet newsletter. You'll also learn the 5 dangerous & "dumb" sex mistakes that turn him off and how to avoid them. Get it here.

You can find nude beaches, cruises, and other facilities or events where you can bare it all, or topless beaches where you can be partially nude. Don’t forget your sunblock! No one wants burned nipples or genitals.

Make sure to follow the rules. Someone’s public nudity isn’t permission to ogle or grope.

Snapping a Selfie

In many ways, snapping a selfie is the epitome of non-sexual exhibitionism. The only reason you do so is to show yourself to other people – literally!

There’s nothing wrong with it, of course. Why shouldn’t you show off if you feel good about yourself?

Sexual Exhibitionism

Sex with an Audience

Now, we don’t mean having sex with an entire audience…unless that’s your thing (threesome tips). Instead, we mean having sex in front of an audience, which could be as small as one person.

If your area has a sex club or dogging community, you could accomplish this. Or you could go online and use a chat/video website to try this type of exhibitionism from the safety of your own home.

Get my blow job book for free: I created a book called 15 Orgasmic Blow Job Tips that will make your man scream in pleasure. You can download it for free here.

Sending Nudes

Sending videos, photos, or even audio recordings of yourself while sexting is fairly common – and an example of exhibitionist behavior!

Check out these 43 sexting examples if you are looking for ways to turn your man on.

Video Chatting or Streaming

Using live video is a great way to work out your kink and stay connected in a long-distance relationship, so why not give it a try?

Phone Sex

Even though the person on the other end can’t see you, they’re still an audience to the moaning and other sounds you make.

Get advice for sizzling hot phone sex.

Wearing Lingerie

If you like it when your partner’s jaw drops and they can’t take their eyes off you when you’re wearing a sexy teddy and thigh highs, then you can be very sure that you are an exhibitionist to some degree.

Lingerie is versatile enough that you can wear some pieces under your clothing and some while actively having sex. Whether you wear it regularly, have never worn it, or need to get back into it, lingerie can be a gateway into exhibitionistic behavior.

Quick Warning: This tutorial video will teach you how to make your girl collapse with unending pleasure and become sexually addicted to you. Things Similar to Exhibitionism Kink

Sexual exhibitionism is similar to, overlaps with, or even be part of other sexual and kinky activities. Many of these are just as taboo as exhibitionism.

Sex in public and getting caught – Many people don’t truly want to get caught or be seen when having sex outside, but find the thrill of it to be a turn-on. Sex in public is taboo, like exhibitionism.

Group sex and orgies – While you’re bound to be seen by plenty of people during group sex, that’s not always the focus. Instead, novelty and increased pleasure take center stage.

BDSM – BDSM, which stands for bondage and discipline, dominance (how to dominate your man during sex) and submission (how to have submissive sex), and sadism and masochism, is a broad umbrella term for a variety of kinky behaviors and relationships, including power exchange relationships. BDSM can happen in public places, letting you explore an exposure fetish or be as much of a submissive exhibitionist as your heart desires.

Humiliation – We already mentioned that embarrassment, triggering someone’s arousal, is one reason why some people like exhibitionism. But erotic humiliation, also known as humiliation or degradation kink, is a thing of its own. Being “forced” to exhibit yourself could combine both of these fetishes or serve as a punishment.

Swinging – Swinging is an activity where members of a couple have sex with other people. There’s a large swinging community and culture that include parties, clubs, and cruises. Two important concepts are soft swapping and hard swapping.

Cuckolding – Cuckolding also goes by hotwifing. It’s a kink where a male partner/husband gets off on the idea of his wife/partner having sex with another man (the bull). Sometimes, he will be in the room, see video, or be able to overhear the activities, so it can be exhibitionistic for the wife and the bull. But that’s not required for cuckolding.

Cuckqueaning is a similar activity where the genders are reversed with the wife/girlfriend watching their partner with another lover.

Using sex toys in public – Usually, this means remote control toys that you wear on your body or in your underwear. Ideally, you won’t be really caught, but the tension of being caught will make you squirm as much as the vibrations.

How to Explore Your Exhibitionist Kink

How you explore this feitsh depends on whether you’re alone or with another person or people.

Solo

By default, having an audience makes it easier to be an exhibitionist, but you can explore this fetish even if you don’t have a partner.

You can fantasize about exhibitionism when you masturbate.

You can find a partner online. You may even be able to find a sexting partner just to show yourself off.

You might also find that masturbating in front of a mirror and/or recording yourself can satisfy a little bit of your need to show off.

Related: How To Make Mirror Sex Incredible.

You can also look for porn or erotica where it’s a theme, or even write your own!

With a Partner

It’s always safest to talk to your partner before trying something new in the bedroom. That way, you can ensure that what you’re doing is consensual exhibitionism. Our guide on keeping it safe, sane and consensual will help you with that.

The good news is that most people would be thrilled to watch their partners touch themselves and perform, even if you’re pretending not to notice someone watching. This means you can probably just dive into it and see if your partner is into it.

That’s not the only way to explore exhibitionism, however.

You can share your sexual fantasy with your partner and explore erotic media together. This includes recording yourselves having sex.

One option is to role-play a scenario where someone will be caught/seen being naughty, like a student and teacher. You can pick roles like patient and doctor, where one of you has to be on display, or even detective with a magnifying glass looking for “evidence.”

Or you can roleplay that a third person is watching you two together, or could discover you if you have a kink for getting caught, but don’t want to risk real trouble.

Go deeper: 42 kinky role play ideas and an extra 35 BDSM role play ideas.

After trying it out, make sure to talk to your partner to ensure you’re on the same page. Talk about what you liked and didn’t and what you want more of or may want to avoid in the future.

When Does an Exhibitionist Kink Become an Issue?

While you can enjoy exhibitionism without any negatives, it can become a problem.

  • You feel distressed over it
  • You can’t enjoy other sexual activities, especially those that your partner is interested in
  • You’re breaking the law
  • You can’t control when or where you expose yourself
  • You spend so much time doing the kink that it gets in the way of work, daily responsibilities, and your relationships

If any of those apply to you, it may be time to speak to a sex therapist and/or your doctor.

Finally, this kink can become a problem if you’re in photos or videos that are shared and you can be identified. You should carefully consider whether you show identifying marks or body parts, including your face, in explicit media and who you share it with.

Make sure you get consent from anyone you record and let them decide how much risk they’re comfortable with taking. Not everyone has a recording kink or wants to be in a video that could wind up online forever!

Fortunately, you don’t have to go to extremes if you’re an exhibitionist. Exhibitionism is a common and hot kink that you can enjoy in multiple ways.

We hope you feel confident to try it out or inspired to go even further than before after reading this guide.

Is Exhibitionism a Crime?

While it’s usually not exhibition that’s the specific crime, most places have laws against public indecency, exposure, nudity or lewd acts.

For some people with an exposure kink, the real risk of the law is actually a turn on. But if you’re caught, you could face jail time and a fine. In some cases, especially those involving anyone who doesn’t consent or can’t consent, public indecency could land you on a sex offender list, which would bar you from living and working in certain places.

That’s why we recommend sticking to safe exhibitionism.

Orgasm Every Time. Easily. Here’s How...

I want to tell you about my friend Karen.

Karen came to me one day. She was hysterical.

She told me that her marriage was falling apart because she and her husband didn’t have satisfying sex.

Every time they were intimate, Karen was faking her orgasms. It turns out she couldn’t orgasm during sex.

In fact...

She never had an orgasm in her entire life. Not one!

This left her feeling embarrassed and ashamed. And...

She completely hid this from her husband. Thankfully...

It turns out that there is a way for any woman to orgasm. Easily. And have multiple vaginal and full body orgasms during sex and masturbation.

I shared the process with Karen.

After she followed the simple process, she could barely come to terms with how...

Quickly and dramatically her sex life changed.

We met up a few months later and...

She would not stop talking about it,

“I thought I was one of those women who couldn’t orgasm. I used to think I was ‘broken’ and ‘unfixable.’ This saved my sex life, and that saved my marriage.”

Even if you currently struggle to orgasm during sex or when masturbating, this process will also work for you.

And best of all, you don’t need to do anything weird or uncomfortable to start having the best orgasms and sex of your life.
